01 / Purpose

What this archive does

The archive organizes confirmed game information, official trailers, screenshots, release details, and editorial analysis in one English-language reference. Its purpose is not to imitate an official site. It exists to help fans find the primary source behind a claim and understand which parts of an article are confirmed, observed, or interpreted.

The main subject is Phantom Blade Zero: its protagonist Soul, the Phantom World setting, combat systems, weapons, Kungfupunk design language, public creator context, and official development updates. Before release, the archive avoids presenting trailer interpretation as finished canon or final game behavior.

02 / Editorial method

How claims are classified

Evidence labels used by The Phantom Archive
LabelMeaningEvidence standard
ConfirmedA fact stated by S-GAME, an official platform holder, or an official store listing.A nearby first-party link and publication date.
ObservedA visible or audible detail in official footage or images. The relevant official media source; no claim about hidden mechanics.
InterpretationEditorial analysis of mood, theme, imagery, or possible meaning.Clearly attributed to the archive and never presented as canon.

When sources disagree or a claim changes during development, the newest official statement takes priority. Older information may remain in a dated archive entry so readers can see how the public record changed.

03 / Authorship

Who is responsible for the text?

Pages are published under The Phantom Archive Editorial Desk. This is the project-level publishing identity used consistently in visible bylines and structured data. It is not S-GAME, Soulframe Liang, or another official Phantom Blade entity. No individual credentials are claimed because no public individual-author profile has been provided.

Editorial summaries are original writing based on cited public material. Short factual descriptions may overlap with official terminology where accuracy requires the official name of a character, event, weapon system, or game feature.

04 / Corrections

How updates and corrections work

Time-sensitive pages display a publication date, update date, and last source-verification date. A factual correction should change the page's update date and preserve a clear explanation when the change materially affects release timing, platforms, weapon counts, story claims, or attribution.

The project does not silently convert speculation into fact. If later official material disproves an interpretation, the archive should label the earlier reading as superseded or remove it with a visible correction note. A public correction inbox has not yet been launched; this limitation is disclosed rather than replaced with an invented contact address.

05 / Independence

Rights, affiliations, and commercial links

Phantom Blade Zero, Phantom Blade, S-GAME, and official artwork, screenshots, logos, and videos belong to their respective rights holders. Official media appears for informational commentary with links to its source. The archive does not claim ownership of official game media.

The character mark used in this site's header and browser icon is an original identity created for The Phantom Archive. The Chinese character means “shadow,” connecting the archive to Phantom World's atmosphere without reproducing the official game emblem. Its warm ivory strokes sit on black with a small crimson archive seal. It is not an official Phantom Blade Zero logo.

External links to Steam, the official website, and official social channels are provided as references. The current site contains no paid placement, sponsored editorial, affiliate tracking, user accounts, or manufactured testimonials. If that policy changes, the disclosure must be updated before commercial links are published.
